THE DROUGHT IS OVER
Dry and dusty
A drought had set in
He longed for the passion that had been missing for years
His heart so full of love and fears
The leaves were wilted,
The grass was crisp,
The land
Cried out for that precious drink
He wondered if he would ever love again
Society's baggage chipping his shoulder
Life was passing him by
Refusing to accept the Barbie doll way,
Wham, bam, see ya, appeared cold and gray.
Threesomes, foursomes, were fine for some,
The greatest yearning was for one on one
And finally a glimmer
On that stormy afternoon
As the skies darkened preparing to rain
A sacred vixen would remove his pain
Taking that first step
On that rainy day
into a world of love, respect
That he had hoped for someday
They met as old friends
That had never seen the other
Yet so familiar, as their eyes met
Touching, hugging, kissing
Her smile lit up the world,
Much less the room
And those eyes, oh, those eyes,
a peaceful feeling set in upon him
The earth's cries had been heard
The rains had set in on that magical afternoon
Coincidence is only a word
The rain should have created traffic
Instead it removed all obstacles
There was nothing to get in their way
For what seemed an eternity,
Yet only moments in time
They danced with conversation
Probing each other's minds, teasingly, provocatively
The rain outside was cool to the touch,
Fresh to the face,
cleansing and rejuvenating
They stole away to their destined union
The passion that had been tucked away, dusty and lonesome
Came rushing out
With every breath
The clouds let loose,
Thunder and lightning were increasing
The rain pelted on the very window
Shielding them inside
They couldn't wait for their skins to touch
Textures so different, yet so compatible
Hurried but patient
They found each other in that rainstorm
As the rain became louder,
They explored and caressed
Afraid of missing something,
He concentrated on the beauty that lay before him
They played, touched, kissed, and moaned
He was a kid in a candy store
Wishing the moment would never end
She was a beautiful rainstorm cleansing his soul
He explored her beauty, teasing, touching
Only wishing for her the inner peacefulness
And sensuous passion that most dream of
The thunder rolled again and again,
As he buried himself in her sweetness
He knew this precious moment would soon end
It did not matter, they were in sync
They lay together as the rain lessened
Touching each other softly, slowly, yes
Then again the rain quickened
Faster this time
As their bodies were familiar
The thunder boomed, they melted together
In a quivering union that left him dazed and confused
It was time to part company,
Knowing they would meet again.
In the meantime they would share feelings
That this vision of complete beauty had stirred
Yes, deep sensual inner feelings, that had almost been
forgotten
Why would someone share such secrets with a stranger?
Because they never were and never will be strangers.
This beautiful divine creature loves all,
And those who have the honor and highest privilege
Of knowing her
Will come away a better person
So on that rainy afternoon,
upon leaving his again found friend,
the earth outside never looked so clean and clear,
the rains had stopped again.
The grass was greener than he last saw it
The drought was over
The earth was refreshed
Their souls had touched each other
On that beautiful rainy afternoon,
All was right with the world
